BWC Counselling is a specialist women's counselling service. We offer all women a safe, confidential and supportive environment to explore all kinds of thoughts, feelings and experiences.
All women experience difficulties at some points in their lives and can feel overwhelmed, challenged and alone. Talking to a counsellor can help to see things more clearly and enable us to cope better with a situation. We may need support with a crisis, to make difficult choices and changes or look at destructive patterns.
Women may want to look at issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, parenting, self harm, illness and bereavement, sexuality, past or present abuse, domestic violence or substance misuse.
We offer low cost short term counselling and operate a sliding scale of fees starting from just £5 per session.
If you would like counselling please fill in the form below.
Connecting Women
A supportive, safe group for women experiencing, or who have experienced an abusive relationship
Our group may help you
Our group may offer you somewhere to talk freely and explore your experiences so you can make sense of your feelings.
To give and receive space and to offer non-judgmental listening can be very helpful for you.
A group can help you move forward with your life, give you confidence in your own decisions and help you with feelings that won’t go away.
A group can give you a sense that you are not alone with this.
Who will be in the group?
Our group is made up of six to eight women who have shared similar experiences.
Who runs the group?
Our group is run by two female counsellors who are very experienced in working with women on issues that effect women.
Are you wondering whether you should come?
Have you experienced a relationship that was abusive or think it may be?
Have you felt manipulated, bullied, controlled or emotionally abused?
Have you been in a relationship which was affected by alcohol or drug use?
This could be a relationship (now or in the past) with an experience of domestic abuse and/or violence.
Would you benefit from joining a small support group where, if you want to, you can talk freely and explore your experience?
You are welcome to join our safe space to share and listen with a group of women who have similar experiences.
