Become A Volunteer Health Walk Leader

If you have a few hours to spare each month, would like to help others while improving your own health and wellbeing and enjoy walking then have you thought of joining the Brighton & Hove Volunteer Healthwalk Leader Team?  There are around 60 Walk Leaders delivering 18 Healthwalks across the city every week; helping 1000 Brighton & Hove Residents improve their physical and mental health every year.

We particularly need volunteers for the Brighton Women’s ‘Walk & Talk’ which meets and finishes at Brighton Women’s Centre every Wednesday, starting at 11.30am.

There’s a dedicated Volunteer Co-ordinator, and regular social events and you get a day’s free accredited training to give you all the skills and knowledge you need to lead walks.

The next training day is:

·         Friday 8 September

·         10am – 4.30pm

·         Bartholomew House, Bartholomew Square

·         BN1 1JE

You can apply online in minutes here or call Becky, the Volunteer Co-ordinator, on 01273 292574.
